The party continued...

Kennady and my friend's daughter, Tristin, have the same birthday. A few of my friends in the ward got together to celebrate their birthdays. We decorated cupcakes, opened presents and just played. I just have to say I have the BEST neighbors in the world - thanks for the party!Kennady, Tristin, Isabelle
She is still smiling because I let her devour a whole cupcake!

Little Evan was sad he couldn't decorate a cupcake with the girls...

I think Kennady was confused...she kept frosting her tongue and not the cupcake!
This is one of my favorite pictures - she didn't care that the cupcake wrapper was still there she was digging in anyway!

Happy Happy Birthday...

This weekend Kennady turned 1 year old. We had a great time celebrating her birthday with friends and family. I'm sure every parent feels that their children grow too quickly and I am not the exception. I remember so clearly the feelings I had when I saw her for the first time and it's hard to believe that it has been a year since that time. She has added so much love and happiness to our home - it is a privilege to be her mom. We love our happy and SMILEY Kennady Lou!For a minute Kennady seemed more interested in the tinfoil than the actual cake.

We bought Kennady this classic Walmart grocery cart for her birthday. She loves food so it was only fitting that we bought her fake food to play with.

It seems that Kennady was born with a big smile on her face so when we were contemplating ideas for her cake it was only fitting to create a little smiley person. I had the idea for the cake and my sisters, Diana and Shandra really made it come together - it was adorable!

Riley and I were so grateful for all of the support we received from our family. We realize a 1 year old birthday is somewhat unneccesary but we love the supportive family that will get together anytime and for any reason. Thanks everyone for all of your help! We love you.
